The Brothers Strong

For those of you not familiar with Homestar Runner: shame on you! His webpage is in our links section; check it out! Go ahead. I'll wait.

Okay, now that you're familiar with all of the characters we can proceed.

Each year the guys who run the Homestar Runner website post pumpkin templates around Halloween. This year I finally decided to take advantage of that fact.

I'm sad that I'm a pumpkin.
  • Title: Strongsad.
  • Artist: Dave.
  • Medium: Large orange gourd (aka a pumpkin).
  • Tools: Knives. Lots of knives. Sharp ones. With the hacking and cutting and the 15 stitches in my thumb.
Halloween! HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEN!I have to give mom a lot of credit for Strongmad. I ran out of time this morning before I had to leave the house so all I got done was the gutting of the pumpkin and the punching of the pattern. I left it to mom to have all the fun of hacking and slashing!

Shortly before making this post my dad informed me that someone had stolen a very minor part of Strongsad.

I'm sad that I've lost face.Okay, now I've heard of kicking in pumpkins. Even stealing them and throwing them at someone's mailbox and shattering it; thereby forcing the person to totally replace their mailbox (ask my dad about how funny that is), but stealing the face out of a pumpkin? That's a new one by me!

Quick! No one go near that pumpkin until CSI gets here! And not that crappy new CSI Miami team, I want Katherine!

Dave, I think it's really beautiful that you and I both independantly found the Home Star Runner pumpkin stencil site and think it's fabulous. I think we were meant to be friends :)

I feel so left out...snif. I didn't even have a pumpkin this year, much less a fabulous stencil kit.

Do they not have pumpkins in Polonia?!?? How can that be?? That's just so uncivilized ;) Next think you know you'll be telling me they don't have Christmas trees or something.

We've got our Christmas tree bases covered. It's eating up valuable storage space, but we brought our fake tree with us. At least... I think we did.

I'm not so sure now that I think about it; the whole toolbox fiasco has kinda made the distinctions between what we brought and what we stored hazy for me.

Funny you should mention the toolbox fiasco...
GSO just called me. Our toolbox arrived today and is ready to go home.
