National Treasure
As spring is slowly arriving, Dave and I are making our initial preparations for our move. One of the things we did this week was our customs declaration. We learned that the National Gallery would inspect any artwork that we purchased in Poland, and had final say over issuing an export license for our paintings. Dave and I have bought several paintings over our two years here, so we sent them to get checked out. Well, it turns out Dave and I own a 'Polish national treasure' that the Gallery won't issue an export license for.
Let's see if you can spot the National Treasure:
1. "La Dolce Vita" Tulips, by B. Murawska
2. "Fairy Tale," by KPMD 3. Unknown title by Nikifor Krynicki
4. "Three in the Park," by P. Dabrowski5. "Zniwa" (sorry...I need to look up the translation), by R. JampolskiGo ahead and leave a comment with your best guess. We'll post a comment with the answer in a few days. Good luck!

The interesting things you glean in the fields of the internet.
I am going to guess Zniwa. I hope it's not La Dolce Vita because that one is beautiful!
This is clearly a trick question ... the "national treasure" is obviously Gidget or something.
But, so now that you're apparently got one, what can you do with it? Will the Polish government buy it for big bucks, or are you just supposed to "give it back"? This seems like a big rip to me.
Alice, my student who is such a good little artist herself, thinks it is "Three in a Park".

Brooke and I both think it's #3.

Okay, I'm going to go with #2 just because no one mentioned it yet and I thought it might be lonely. Actually, I just wanted in on the fun. What do I get if i win?? lol ;) And yeah, what are you supposed to do with it?
