Warsaw's first snow

It's that time of year...time for the first snow. It's gotten very cold during the last week, so it was no surprise that we finally got snow on Wednesday. I'm surprised we haven't had snow earlier. It is Poland, after all. It was already dark when it started on Wednesday, and the snow didn't stick, so I don't have any pictures of the first snow.

However, the second snow DID stick, so here are pictures from Saturday:
Not very impressive, and it melted very quickly, but winter is definitely here. It's 3:45 right now in Warsaw, and it's already dark outside. Ugh. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. It's giving me a great excuse to go and tan during the winter though! I try and get out and get real sunshine, but even during daytime the sky is generally cloud covered.
