Our Christmas Tree
Here, we are proud to present, the 2005 Christmas tree:
Oh wait...whoops...that's Laura and George's nice little tree. Now here is a tree to be proud of, and it didn't cost the tax payers anything (except maybe transportation to and from Poland when we moved here):
We got a lot of new ornaments that I'm very proud of this year:
This guy is named "Smoks" in Polish, pronouced 'smokes.' Isn't that a great name for a dragon? He apparently terrorized Krakow, burning thatched roofs and terrorizing the virgins of the land. The founder of Krakow, some-famous-king-whose-name-I-can't-remember, slew the dragon. Anyway, I couldn't find a Trogdor ornament, so this little guy is taking his place.
This is a typical Polish egg ornament that I added to the tree this year:
The Angel is also a local purchase, but her wings make her a little top heavy. She kept falling off the tree, and I think she might have damaged a wing this year. I think I'll have to replace her: I can't have a fallen angel on my tree.
Gidet LOVED playing in the tree and with the presents.
Of course, Gidget loves playing with everything. If only she could get to those birds...

Yay! Pictures!!
Your ornaments are fabulous ... I wish that I'd gotten more when I was visiting you. Of course, I would have had to carry them around during my return trip 3 day airport saga, so maybe my restraint was a good thing.
Ok ... but what really happened over Christmas?? What did you eat?? Where did you go?? Exactly what loot was gotten!?!?!?!!?
Your public awaits you...
