Red, Red, Wine
Red hair, take two. The 6-8 shampoo hair color washed out on the first go, but I had so much fun the first time I thought I'd go ahead and do it again. I had gone to CVS to find a new nail polish I'd seen advertised in magazines (the kind that comes on sheets and you rub off onto your nail...has anyone tried this stuff??). I didn't find what I was looking for, and once again found myself in the hair dye aisle. This time, I decided to go a much darker red, and since they didn't have what I wanted in the 6-8 shampoos, I grabbed a 28 shampoo temporary dye (it says it will last six weeks...we'll see).
Since someone (*mom*) couldn't tell the difference with the last dye, I decided to go for before and after shots this time. Here is my normal hair:
And here is my wild child red. I'm really enjoying it, but I think if I ever really want to go red I'm going to let a pro do it, because I want it to look RED, not red over brown. And no, I'm not going for the sex kitten look in that last photo, but was just trying to take the photo with my hair at an angle. The red didn't show up on camera when I took straight on shots.
Fun stuff, huh?

Jem! (Jem is truly outrageous)
(Truly, truly, truly outrageous!)
Whoa, Jem (Jem), the music's contagious (outrageous).
Jem is my name, no one else is the same, Jem is my name!
My online research for these lyrics indicates that Jem's hair is actually pink, but her keyboardist appears to have red hair. So there you go.
Ooo...now all I need is bright green and blue eyeshadow which I will apply in layers all the way up to my eyebrow, and star-shaped stickers for my cheek.
Show time Synergy!
