Megan's Hot New Wheels
Dave here:
Because I was not present for the events herein described, I asked Melissa's sister Megan if she would mind writing a post about stealing err... picking up my former car. The only things I've added to Megan's text are the pictures and the picture mouseovers. Here's Megan:
Well, the day finally came when Dave had to say goodbye to the “other woman” in his life – the car. As his sister-in-law, I felt a deep sense of sorrow for him. Ok, I actually didn’t give a hoot about his feelings because I got a new car!
Dad and I took a plane out to Washington where Belinda was kind enough to give us a ride from the Metro station. When we got to the house it was waiting for me, all shiny and yellow. I was extremely excited to finally get the keys in my hand. Dad and I set out that night for our 9 state trek across the nation. On the way we saw all of the Harley Davidson riders who were enroute to Washington D.C. for the Memorial Day celebration known as “Rolling Thunder.” It was pretty neat to see hundreds for motorcyclists driving by at a time.
After many long hours on the road, and a list of restaurants we hit along the way (some were much better than others), we finally pulled into the driveway in Colorado.
Ahhhh, it feels good to be home. The good news *sarcastic cough* is that on June 9th, I get to turn around and drive to Alabama. Ugh! Well, such is the life of a lieutenant. Thanks to everyone who helped me obtain my new wheels.

Yay Megan! That car is one fabulous accessory. You clearly need matching shoes or something :)
Hey Meggie!!
Your car looks great! I know you'll have lots of fun riding around in it.
And wow...I have no idea who this Howie person is above, but all I know is I'm not clicking on his link while I'm at work!
Melissa
I'm not sure who he is either, but he misused the word "it's" in his most recent blog post... that makes me immediately suspicious that he is in fact the cat.
Melissa, what have I told you about allowing Gidget internet access?
This is an excellent opportunity for everyone to recall Strongbad's song:
Ooooh, if you want to show possession it's just I-T-S.
But if you want to make a contraction it's I-T apostrophe S.
Scallywag.
